Budding lovers Anna and Mark were reunited after attending the same school together. Mark chuckles, ‘I always fancied Anna’. The couple came to Lily Anna Rose seeking information about the Bloom collection which Anna found on social media.

Previously, the Bloom stationery was inspired by the floral organza Marilyn bridal gown by award-winning designer Sassi Holford in 2016. Coincidentally Anna’s wedding dress was created by the same person.

Affection for the interior of the venue was Anna’s inspiration, they both loved the warmth from the painted walls and aimed to capture a fanciful delight, hinting at vintage gaiety to complement the environment through their wedding stationery, cake, and flowers. The private dining experience and high tea were the icings on the cake as a happy celebration was shared amongst their family and close friends.

I wanted to say how beautiful they are and exactly what we wanted, just perfect thank you.

They both quickly agreed on the buttery milk paper that illuminated the red and pink watercolour rose. The superior summer floral alongside the forest green envelopes matched the foliage green, which fashioned a vibrant and bright romantic combination of glorious perfection.

The conclusion was an all-inclusive wedding invitation set with addressed envelopes. On the day pieces included table names, labels (biodegradable rose bud) for the confetti bags, and hand-made candles which were personalised and used as place cards. Finally, thank you cards.

‘Best and dearest flower that grows, Perfect both to see and smell; Words can never tell half the beauty of a Rose.’
