The styled shoot was designed to blend the beauty of two cultures and wedding traditions, with the focus on the traditional Persian ceremony known as the ‘Sofreh Aghd’ gave the shoot a unique angle.

There are many symbolic items that make up the Sofreh Aghd spread, all of which represent an element of the couple’s new life together. The essence of the deepest traditions such as the ‘mirror of fate’is a beautiful moment during the ceremony where the bridegroom sees the reflection of his future, his wife to be, for the very first time.

The blue tiled wedding cake created by Rosalind Miller, the tall square cake features broken bits of faux Persian tiling, a subtle yet gorgeous gesture to the couple’s culture

Everyone is sooooo complimentary about the invitations.

on the day

Our bride stunned in a flaw length open draping back dress from designer Charlie Brear for her ceremony, before changing into a striking a-line piece from designer Jesus Peiro‘s 2020 collection for the evening reception look.

Amongst the green plants and foliage in the setting, the colour palette retained an understated elegance whilst adding show stopping pops of pink and orange flowers. The bamboo silk runners in both ivory quartz and tulip tree peach adorn the table. Peach bamboo silk delicately frayed silk ribbons were tied around the napkin-wrapped menu cards.
