The silver printed invitations each accompanied a novel coal black save the day card, styled as a vintage train ticket. Curiously dark with a gossamer printed overlay for the main invitation sat between a transparency overlay. Bundled into handwritten calligraphy written addressed envelopes: the wedding information sheet, and reply card.
Thank you so much for our beautiful stationery it’s all perfect!

on the day
The skittish newlyweds board the dark train from the steamy platform at Corfe on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset. An iconic castle sits below the curling grey clouds. Rolling green hills pass as the train thunders along the thudding iron tracks. The look encapsulates an unusual mix of curious power from the dark luster which evokes the industrial Victoriana feel combined with the contrast of delicate spring bouquets, dainty tuille, and lace of Annasul Y.’s tea dress gown.
