ROMANTIC FINCA WEDDING

The mother-of-the-bride and I spoke in 2019. Chantal and Sebastian’s wedding had been postponed on two occasions due to the pandemic and there was a window of opportunity and a very tight deadline.

The couple’s wedding had the perfect combination of sophistication and countryside Finca charm, offering plenty of space for an outdoor celebration and lovely natural backdrops.

A beautiful ceremony on a warm late September day at Parròquia de Sant Bartomeu, Alaró, Mallorca. The parish church of Alaró is situated in the heart of the village and is one of the main gathering places for the locals. This idyllic finca lays nestled between vineyards, fields and pictureque windmills.

On the day

The celebrations continued at Finca Es Cabàs. An ancient property of Talaiotic and Moorish origin is set at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana Mountain Range in Mallorca’s southwest. The shaded courtyard offered a welcome escape from the hot sun.

Come the evening, a warm glow of twinkling string lights draped across the courtyard buildings. Long dining tables, each named after a place in Mallorca that had special memories for the couple. Decked with fresh romantic roses and peonies and as the warm sunset fell, the cream candles and gold candelabras, created an ambience perfect for romance and falling in love. All under the blanket of the Balearic starlit sky.

Tucked into a linen napkin, the postcard size made transportation easy from the UK to the venue. China White for the menus and order of service covers and parchment for the inserts. The uncoated papers tied together with the charm of a picturesque cobblestone setting in the hills and the fresco dining. The Valldemossa region is synomous with citrus groves.

They look AMAZING! We are so pleased with them. Thank you so much for all your efforts, ideas and patience with getting them just as we wanted.
